Robin E. Piper, DO, FACOG

Robin Piper, DO, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist who joined Cary OB/GYN in 2023 after she completed her residency training. She performs surgery and delivers babies along with the wonderful team at WakeMed Cary Hospital.

Dr. Piper earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Florida State University and her medical degree from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is a native of Jacksonville, Florida, and was thrilled to return to warm weather and be near North Carolina's sunny beaches. She completed her residency training at Michigan State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and earned many accolades for her warm bedside manner, calm demeanor, and enthusiasm for teaching. Dr. Piper enjoys performing minimally invasive gynecologic surgery with the DaVinci robotic system, including hysterectomies and treating patients with uterine fibroids. She also loves working in labor and delivery and helping each woman feel empowered as she welcomes her baby into the world. She has a special interest in treating patients with abnormal uterine bleeding, infertility, high-risk obstetrics, and personalized contraceptive options. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and backgrounds and is committed to diversity and inclusion.

When not at work, Dr. Piper enjoys being outdoors, checking out new local coffee shops, traveling near and far, and spending time with her husband, who is also a physician, and their family. They are thrilled to be welcoming their second baby girl soon!
